MATTHEW LEIVA

3RD DEGREE BLACK BELT

Matthew Leiva, a 3rd Degree Black Belt, has been with United Studios of Self Defense for 10 years, training and teaching the martial arts at the Anthem Hills studio. His training began at a young age after an eventful career day at school which led him to aspire to be a karate instructor. He teaching to students of all ages but enjoys introducing children and teenagers to martial arts and how they can utilize it in their everyday lives. He is a great role model to the students and is always positive and prepared with a joke or witty quote for the class. 

 A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Leiva has made his home Las Vegas. He enjoys making music, cooking, and finding ways to better improve the students experience here at Anthem dojo through many different facets!
